FPSG currently has a Contract Kdb+/Q Developer to join the Data Analytics team of a leading global organisation who operate within a sought after sector. The organisation have a fantastic reputation worldwide within their market and pride themselves on the quality of service to their clients.
The Contract Kdb+/q Development position has become available to due business critical projects for globally based clients. This will involve you working alongside teams and business users and customers located in multiple locations to provide the best possible technical solutions.
In this role as KDB+/Q Developer your responsibilities will include:
- Design, Upgrade and Build
- Continuous improvement of Kdb environment
- Working with automated based systems
- Working with teams in multiple locations
To be a successful KDB+/Q Developer you will need experience of:
- Q Development
- KDB Database Management
- Data Mining
- Perl or PowerShell
- UNIX
