Description

My client are a top accommodation brand that are changing the industry they are a part of and slowly becoming the leaders in their market. The Marketing Assistant role acts with a main focus on delivering digital and offline marketing support. This would be an ideal role for someone creative but methodical with a keen interest in marketing, who enjoys working within a fast paced environment and has a good eye for detail.


The role:
• Keep websites fresh and up to date with regular new content including images, copy changes, promotional messaging and blog publishing.
• Find and create interesting and relevant content for the social media profile pages on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Google Plus.
• Monitor site managed social media profiles, making recommendations for content and improvement, providing ad hoc one to one guidance to new members of the team.
• Create and manage email send outs for campaigns through Campaign Monitor, providing basic reporting to Sales and Marketing team.
• Manage distribution and print management of all marketing materials requested by site teams. Manage and maintain stocks of printed collateral.
• Assist with ad hoc marketing tasks as required by the business.
• Create templated marketing materials as required including social event posters, Facebook images, leaflets, HTML emails and banners.
• Basic sales and marketing reporting from StarRez booking system, Google Analytics and on Social Media use.
• Attend housing fairs and marketing meetings as required around the UK.
• Create, edit and update content and ensure a programme of relevant content is gathered from around the business.
• Create and circulate marketing plans and calendars.
• Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions and/or acts on opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency and productivity.
• Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the
internet or other professional publications, or utilising other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.
• Travel and occasional overnight stays may be necessary in the execution of this role's duties.
