Description

The project is for a leading Salesforce marketing cloud partner and the contract is initially planned to run through to mid-March.

Project overview:

The client is launching an ambitious CRM platform with a view to revamp their communication with customers, gain visibility on who their customers are, and leverage this knowledge to personalise their actions. The programme includes migration of the current data warehouse to Salesforce Heroku, implementation of Salesforce as a single customer view, replacement of the current email management tool by Salesforce Marketing Cloud, implementation of Wave analytics as BI platform, and integration of online and offline activities.

The Salesforce marketing cloud developer will perform the following activities:

  • Re-engage the project
  • Complete pending build activities
  • Lead a migration testing cycle from SFDC to SFMC in coordination with the Heroku/SFDC developer
  • Replay the integration testing activities (regression testing + pending testing)
  • Support UAT
  • Train the client (TBC)
  • Perform the pre-cutover activities
  • Support go live and post go live

Candidate attributes:

  • good client facing (some training and UAT support involved),
  • very good technical knowledge of SFMC,
  • 2+ years of email development experience within a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) environment
  • 2+ AMPscript, HTML, and CSS development experience
  • Journey Builder and Audience Builder experience
  • ability to understand architecture and ability to handle integration details with 3rd party systems
  • team player
