An excellent opportunity has arisen to join us on a Migration Project in Italy.

We require a number of Network Engineers to fit 3 teams to support a migration project (Preparation, Execution and Troubleshoot/Follow up)

Languages: Fluent Italian (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Location: Rome

Duration: 2 years.

Essential:

  • Knowledge of IPv4, OSPF, CEF, MPLS, label distribution protocols (LDP and BGP).
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot GigaEthernet (1G/10G) interfaces (negotiation, speed, cable crossed etc).
  • Ability to solve and troubleshoot immediate issues (ie activating a port/deactivating a port).
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Pwe3, VPLS (statically signalled) and IPv4 unicast VRF is required.

The successful engineers will Coordinate on field teams and track and report activities.

Key Performance Indicators (all those will be provided with a reporting grid and explanation to the Engineer).

Ability to work during nightshifts when required.

Certifications:

Cisco Certifications will be desirable: CCNA,CCNP, CCIE
