CONTRACT - up to £550p/d.
A world-leading financial institution is seeking a Senior Developer with experience across C++, C# and Java, to work on an award winning Fixed Income platform, which will Clear Repo's.
The team is responsible forthe development/maintenance of Clearing Systems for the following products: Equity, Fixed Income, Commodities and Equity Derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Analyst of detailed Functional Specification/Use Case and Impact Analysis documents.
- Analyse, develop and maintenance of the Fixed Income System.
- Execute deep dive analysis of complex problems.
- Production and maintenance of complex SQL; Scripts, optimization, query plans.
- DB design.
- Senior/Lead developer of the Fixed Income System's General User Interface (GUI)
Working experience
- Minimum 10 years experience in analysis, design, code and test of large scale applications using C, C++, C# and Java with a relational DB; at least 9 of these in the financial sector and at least 5 of these in Fixed Income.
- Minimum 10 years experience in SQL (ideally Sybase) and DB design; at least 5 of these as an SME.
- Minimum 8 years plus experience in Scripting; Perl and Shell script.
- Minimum 5 years Fixed Income product experience ie Bonds and Repos, Term GC and EGC+.
- Minimum 10 experience of MMI from Trade capture to settlement
- Minimum 5 years experience developing Fixed Income Clearing system, to interface to T2S - European Settlement system as well as the following areas of the system: General User Interface (GUI), Trading, Netting, Margining, Settlement, including T2S.
