JOB SUMMARY
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a (3) Java Consultants for a 3 and 6+ month contract (with very likely extensions) for an enterprise client located in Dallas, TX. The Java Developers will be responsible for developing complex software applications to support the client's business. The ideal Java Developer should able to conscientiously apply their mastery of Java to ensure the client receives applications that are both beautiful and functional inside and out.
- Collaborate for Production/Delivery of Project Deliverables
- Create Technical Solutions Based on Visual/Interaction Specs and/or Client-Specs
- Evaluate Complex Multi-Faceted Designs/Raise Potential Issues to Appropriate Teams
- Developer-Level Testing/Test Automation - TDD (Test-Driven Development)
- Support Development Teams/Implementing Feedback
- Assist in Technical Approach/Strategy to Implementation via Client Collaboration
- Understand Overall Delivery Process - High-Level View of Each Practice
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- Java/J2EE Development - OO Analysis/Design
- Database Design/Modeling/Programming
- Oracle Database
- ORM - Object Relational Mapping
- JDBC - Java Database Connectivity
- MVC Applications/RESTful Services
- Spring MVC - Application Framework/Inversion Control Container
- JAX-RS - Java API for RESTful WebServices
- TDD - Test Driven Development
- Mocking Frameworks/IoC - Spring Framework
