SENIOR QLIKVIEW DEVELOPER (CONTRACT)
Project-Practice is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior QlikView Developer to join our prestigious client, a global organisation in the facilities services space.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for development, documentation and distribution of reports
- Ability to understand relational and dimensional data sources
- Responsible to design and build enterprise-wide QlikView Applications
- Day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of all components of data warehouse
- Day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of all components of QlikView infrastructure
- Prepare adhoc data requests
- Analyse the results generated via reports and ensure accuracy
- Draw out business insights
- Encourage data governance and ensure best practices
- Mentor team members as and when required
- Improve data quality and speed of delivery
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server R2/2012, T-SQL
- Ability to write complex yet efficient SQL queries and stored procedures
- Strong knowledge on QlikView Server architecture
- Building QVDS and QVWs applying business rules and data validations
- Proficient in QMC to monitor QlikView server process
- Perform QlikView system administration tasks as and when required
- Working knowledge of Business Objects and Crystal Reports
