Ruby on Rails Developer - London - 6 months - £350 - £450 per day
I am looking for a technology Ruby on Rails Developer with experience of working in a fast paced collaborative environment to join an innovative Mobile Start-up based in West London. My client is looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to come on board and play a key part in driving forward product development and accelerating their hold on the market. I need someone with strong Ruby on Rails experience and strong Agile (TDD, BDD) experience who can work closely with the Head of Engineering and other internal stakeholders.
The successful Ruby on Rails Developer will need to have a solid understanding of Ruby on Rails along with some strong knowledge of Web Technologies such as Javascript, CSS and HTML. The successful candidate must have considerable experience working on high transactional projects in strong development environments. You will be working with the Web team, they are looking for someone who can think on their feet and is able to come up with simple solutions to complex problems. As well as having an in-depth knowledge of Ruby development.
Experience needed as Ruby on Rails:
- Proven experience of being part of growing engineering team
- Excellent working knowledge and proven experience of developing mobile products within Ruby on Rails as development as 80% Back End
- Experience of working within a Start-up environment
- Experience with Web technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS as 20% Front End
- Experience with React Native would be a benefit
- Experience in architecting complex systems
- Proven background in Agile software development principles (TDD, BDD)
- Experience of developing new features as well as existing feature updates
