Description
One of our financial clients is seeking an experienced Developer to join their Automated Market Making (AMM) IT group, an exciting new global team delivering solutions to the core of their electronic trading activities.
Based in London and reporting to the UK Head of Exchange and Market Access (XMA), this role involves working closely with the Front Office as part of a small team to develop and maintain all connectivity within the client's infrastructure.
Skills/Qualifications
The candidate must have the following skills and qualities:
- Strong C++ development skills including experience with multi-threaded programming, performance optimization
- A number of years experience working in a finance environment
- Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges
- Highly motivated to work directly with traders
- Strong communication skills and the ability to describe and defend technical decisions
- Strong analytical skills
The following experience would be desirable:
- Experience of FX or Equities business
- Experience of DMA
- Experience of high-performance/low latency development
- Proven ability to deliver Front Office systems
