Prestigious Advertising Organization is seeking a SiteCore .NET Architect. This role is responsible for assessing the customer needs and requirements, and delivering the latest technologies, best practices and standards. The .NET Developer with sitecore responsibilities will develop, maintain, and integrate Sitecore CMS 7.0 based solutions, including unit testing and implementation efforts. This position will also assist in other C# programming projects, including web development and service tier programming, within an Agile team environment
- Create and install Sitecore packages, including publishing, workflow, custom fields, and media library items.Utilize Web API to serve Sitecore data to other clients.
- Write C# code for either new applications or perform updates to existing codebases that can be easily understood and maintained.
- Design, develop and test web applications with .NET and Sitecore CMS, as well as HTML, CSS JavaScript and other technologies.
- Interact directly with customers to review requirements, manage project delivery and obtain deliverable feedback.
- Work effectively and maintain constant communication with other developers, QA regarding bugs and issues, departments and vendors.
- 3 years of experience developing modern enterprise level applications using .NET technologies specifically C# .NET, Visual Studio , ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms and .NET Framework 3.5-4.5.
- 3+ years dedicated hands-on experience using Sitecore CMS 7.0+.
- Able to participate in 2nd level on-call/pager support on a rotational basis with other .NET developers, approximately 1 week every quarter.
- Bachelor's of Science degree in related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
ARCHITECT: As the technical lead and architect on one or more consulting projects, you will have the responsibility for understanding, planning and leading the delivery of Sitecore solutions, guaranteeing they meet the technical standards and business value.
Beyond your experience as a seasoned Sitecore architect, you understand that delivering business value to your clients is your ultimate objective. Your knowledge of how integrate and leverage Sitecore within client environment Back End systems will be a key to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Technically design and architect Sitecore-based solutions from scratch.
- Be accountable for leading Sitecore implementations that are delivered on time and on budget, ensuring that project managers have clear visibility to project tasks and timelines
- Become the 'go to' problem solver within a project team
- Foster a cohesive, team-oriented project environment
- Lead and mentor small to medium-sized teams on Sitecore component development
- Ensure compliance to contemporary web development, .NET and Sitecore best practices
Qualifications
- Sitecore developer certification
- Sitecore Architect certification a plus
- 4+ years of professional experience with Sitecore, 6.x/7.x/8.0 expertise preferred
- 6+ years of professional experience with the Microsoft .NET platform including .NET 3.5/4.x
- Evidence of success in the delivery of Microsoft and Sitecore solutions to customers
- Detailed understanding of object-oriented design principles and software patterns, including MVC
- Experience with contemporary presentation layer technologies (eg Bootstrap, Angularjs, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3)
- Experience using Sitecore pipelines and developing processors within projects
- Experience integrating third-party search technologies (eg SOLR, ElasticSearch, Endeca, etc.) with Sitecore
- Passion for hands-on development in .NET technologies: ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, MVC, IIS, SQL Server
- Significant background and experience in CMS concepts
- Experience creating and maintaining a continuous integration (CI) environment for Sitecore projects
