Role: Senior ICT Architect
Location: Amersfoort, the Netherlands
Duration: 12 months, extension possible
Rate: market conform
Responsibilities:
- Participate to (large) tendering projects;
- Contribute to system evaluations for users, as well as in the office as in the field
- Thinking and discussing along about functional and technical aspects;
- Identifying needs with the end client and initiating concept development and experiments to fill these needs;
- Hands on execution of implementations and/or experiments within a feature team.

- Can work independently as well as in a team;
- Is good in communication (written + verbal skills)
- Pragmatic, creative, analytical, persistent, independent;
- Transfer skills to others .
Knock-out Criteria:
- Min HBO in Informatics, Technic, Maths or equivalent to this;
- Min 5 year's relevant experience and knowledge with data communication;
- Min 5 years' experience in applying (Open Source) products and components for data communication;
- Min 2 year's experience as an Architect in a relevant project; Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring als architect in een relevant project;
- Fluent in Dutch (written + verbal);
- Available for at least 36hrs a week.
Wishes:
- Experience with network technologies with very low bandwidths
- Experience with satellite communication
- Experience with system development
- Knowledge of and experience with distributed data processing
- Experience with Java, Android, Linux and Windows
