Senior Web Developer - PHP, JavaScript & WordPress

£38-50k per annum (DOE)

This is an opportunity to join a global health company entering a stage of rapid expansion. To support this growth, we are looking for an experienced Website Developer to join the existing dynamic Marketing Team to create and construct a new web structure to support the exciting direction of the business. If you are looking for a new challenge and possess strong PHP, JavaScript and WordPress skills then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!

You will be working as part of an agile team, following the Marketing Team's strategies to design and build the new website, taking responsibility for the successful management, administration development , maintenance and support of the of both the front and back end to ensure the site meets the growing demands of the business.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of web design, programming, maintenance, troubleshooting and user experience, combined with a good understanding of marketing solutions to help promote the business across the web.

This role is a six month fixed-term contract, working full time. The normal office hours are 9am to 5pm.

You will:

- Have strong skills with more than 5 years of experience in PHP, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript

- Have strong skills and knowledge of Wordpress

- Have knowledge of graphics and web design

- Have knowledge of networking and security

- Have excellent web and database programming skills

- Have a good appreciation of design, usability and interactivity

- Have a good understanding of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) web development standards.

- Have excellent troubleshooting experience and problem solving skills;

- Have a relevant degree level qualification, or will be able to demonstrate an equivalent general level of understanding of computing and web development.

- Be permitted to work in the UK.

You may:

- Have experience of working within an Agile team environment

- Have Photoshop and/or Illustrator skills

- Have an understanding of SEO techniques

- Have knowledge of Google Analytics

- Have knowledge or experience working in a ISO compliant industry

- Have knowledge of the medical industry
