General Insurance Actuarial Contractor
We are currently looking to hire a General Insurance Actuary to work for a top financial services business in the city. This is a great opportunity to get involved in various projects throughout the business.
General Insurance Actuary responsibilities
- Leading client engagement teams and in some instances working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide Expert modelling advice
- Lead actuarial reporting
- Providing a high quality advisory service.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders
- Sharing knowledge and experience and contributing to the development of the team
General Insurance actuary skills/experience
- Qualified Actuary
- Experience of working within General Insurance
- Strong technical and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to deal with clients and senior personnel from day one
- Knowledge of UK regulatory regime for non-life insurers
- A broad knowledge of non-life insurance products
- Candidates with any of the following skills would be considered favourably:
- Modelling (eg Igloo, ReMetrica);
- Programming (eg VBA, .NET);
