Description
A 6 Month Contract requirement for an Electronics Engineer has become available with an established technology company based in East Oxfordshire. The Contract Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of electronics and firmware for instrumentation.
Electronics Engineer - Essential Skills:
Circuit design, schematic capture, layout and design for manufacturability for multi-layer PCBs
Previous experience with STM32 ARM and PIC microcontrollers
Proficiency in Embedded C and/or C++
Knowledge of interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C
Schematic capture and PCB design - preferably using DipTrace or Cadsoft Eagle
EMC and low noise
Proficiency in C++ or C# GUI application development for testing Embedded products
Desirable Skills:
PCB re-working skills for SMD components
Familiarity with FPGA hardware design and VHDL or Verilog experience
Experience in PID control loops, motion control, industrial process control
Experience in high frequency RF generators, programmable DC power supplies and high-voltage regulated DC-DC converters would be useful but not essential
