Web Solutions Architect - Sitecore, Azure, C#, .NET
My client, a leading international consultancy, are looking for an experienced Web Solutions Architect to join for an initial 4 months, although the project is due to be running 12months +.
The successful Solutions Architect will help deliver high-quality web application software systems for a centrally developed web platform.
Tasks:
- Work closely with the web development team members to assess technology feasibility of new projects
- Ensure the development team understands key technical aspects of their solutions and provide guidance ensuring development in compliance with architecture
- Translate the interaction design into requirements and new architecture possibilities
- Establish and build the web application architecture for new systems based on the latest developments in the industry
- Perform gap analysis on the current architecture(s), identifying challenges and opportunities
- Own the reference architecture definition for web application
- Write technical architecture and detail software design document
- Participate in project scoping and estimation tasks
Required experience:
- A minimum of 6 years of working experience in web application development systems with entire system development life cycle
- Proven experience with up-to-date web application stack and with delivering highly scalable web applications
- CMS systems: Sitecore, Umbraco, WordPress or other similar experiences with high end and lower end CMS
- Hosting: Experience with Azure is a must and AWS is a good advantage (Global Sites are now on Azure )
- Development technologies: C#, .NET, PHP, Front End web techniques knowledge is desirable (jQuery, Angular, bootstrap and similar )
- Knowledge or experience with full life cycles in developing of the web sites and CMS based websites
- Overall good understanding of web based development and accompanying tools and techniques (CDN, OWASP, microservices, APM )
- Knowledge of web services, API integrations, mobile development is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate a clear point of view regarding approach to architecture design and deliverables
- Highly developed team player qualities with a hands-on approach
- Experience with creating high-level project estimates
