Our client which is a leader in the E-commerce industry is looking now for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to help to deliver their next generation platform.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design, plan, implement and maintain automation test frameworks using commercial or open-source tools
- Taking complete ownership of the automation effort
- Creating automation scripts based of regression test cases or feature requirements
- Propose enhancements and solutions to increase test automation efficiency and coverage
- Generating reliable effort estimates for tasks
- Creating automation solution design based on best-practice
- Creation of automated tests and frameworks while maintaining existing frameworks
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage own Automation deliverable
- Mentoring others in automation practices
It is very important that you have:
- Experience building automation framework from scratch
- Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced Agile environment
- Performance testing experience, Java, Spring framework, Imeter, Jenkins
- Developing Site/Database Automation Strategy, systems and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of Test Automation, eg with Selenium Webdriver or Robot Framework
- Knowledge of test frameworks (such as JUnit, TestNG, TestUnit, RSpec...)
- Knowledge of Relational/SQL Databases (such as MySQL or PostgreSQL)
- Experience of source control systems, preferably git
- Automating UI widgets
- Exposure to BigData technologies concepts
- Knowledge of AWS environment
- Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA Software, Bitbucket, Confluence)
