Systems Admin - Mobile Enterprise Applications

The Mobile Wallet, mobile enterprise platform, Systems Admin will provide the support of Mobile applications and TSM. They will be responsible for providing on-call support for production applications, which will involve working closely with Client Services teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will be analytical in their approach, possessing the ability to provide solutions to issues. This is a fast-paced role involving the management of multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

The Mobile Wallet Systems Admin role is crucial in the production of Mobile Application. They will provide constant on-call support in regards to production issues as well as managing ticket requests from Client Services when resolving these issues. This involves resolving the technical applications and identifying and sorting any issues affecting any aspect of the production.

Other functions of the role include conducting daily system checks, responding to any alerts and resolving where necessary, whilst also analysing the root cause of the issue. They will also conduct detailed analysis on the impact of these issues and present them in daily meetings.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field
  • Experience working with Shell Scripting (ksh, csh, bash, Perl, Ruby, ssh) and SQL of Oracle DB, Unix, Linus, Embedded Systems, Red Hat Linux, C, Java, AWS
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience providing technical production support
  • Overall must be very strong in Linux, Tomcat, Zabbix, Atlassian tool suite, as well as knowledge of hosted operations in AWS.
  • Must have a background in the success of product roadmaps, product launches and will have managed products in a software or service-orientated organisation.
  • Experience must be within a multiple Servers, and the Applications will be scalable and used by millions of user across United Arab Emirates, Asia
  • Smartcard and SIM/USIM/UICC product knowledge; over the air Smartcard experience is extremely advantageous
  • Systems Admin experience within MNO/Telco, NFC, HCE mobile payments applications experience desirable
  • Experience and knowledge in Global Platform card and messaging specifications
  • Experience in mobile payments processing, card provisioning, card personalization and payments network
  • Mobile Wallet service provider experience desirable
