Front End XAML Developer required to join our financial services client based in Glasgow on an initial 12 month contract
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced XAML/WPF Developer to secure a lengthy contract within a large well known organisation. As a Front End developer and member of the UX team, the candidate's role will be to faithfully implement designs provided by UX designers into the XAML language working closely with interaction and visual designers as well as application developers.
To be considered for this role, applicants should have the following skills:
* XAML, Blend, .Net, WPF/C#
* An understanding of visual design tools from the Adobe Suite (Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop) and the Microsoft Suite (Expression Blend, Expression Design).
* Understanding of Object Oriented Programming, MVVM Design patterns, Web Services
* Developing Custom Reusable controls, UI framework and libraries for use across multiple projects.
* Communications skills
Financial Service experience would be a nice to have but any experience in marketing or advertising would be highly advantageous. As this role requires an attention to visual detail and an eye for design. Experience creating or implementing custom controls, visual designs and/or themes is strongly preferred.
