- Strong C++ development skills
- Experience of non-GUI C# programming
- Experience with low-latency, high-availability asynchronous systems
- Flexible approach to dealing with challenges
- Motivated to work directly with traders and research
- Strong communication and design skills
- Proven ability to deliver Front Office systems
The following would be helpful:
- Experience in Java and Python
- Experience of the FX business
- Experience of messaging-based data distribution, particularly TIBCO Rendezvous
Based in London and part of the FX IT eTrading development team, this role involves working closely with the Front Office as part of a small team to:
- Maintain and enhance the FX pricing system, particularly including enhancements to the existing spot pricing, including capacity improvements, and build out of extended product pricing functionality
- Be part of the whole development life cycle including analysis, architecture/design, development, testing and 2nd level support
