A really marvellous opportunity to join a well known luxury automotive manufacturer at their amazing Research and Development labs!

I am looking for an individual with a background in FMA and Systems Engineering to play a key role in supporting these on my clients Research Projects.

You will have experience of FMA, Product Development and Quality Management Systems Engineering and be self motivated.

You will be taking a key role in supporting Research projects with Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) and Systems Engineering expertise. Working closely with Research Project Leaders and providing coaching in day to day application of FMA tools such as to drive creation of robust Requirements/Product Specifications and Verification & Validation methods or Test Cases for new technology projects.

You will work closely with Research Project Leaders ensuring the application of FMA tools is aligned with Systems Engineering principles whereby the Technical solutions captured in the Specification for new technology can be traced back to the Voice of the Customer.

You will also work alongside with Research Quality Lead and assisting in the assessment/audit of the FMA documentation against sign-off criteria & preparation of status reports.

Ideally be qualified to degree level - or relevant industry experience.

Knowledge of modelling tools such as Rhapsody or Simulink a distinct advantage
