Description
Front End Web Developer with excellent JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, AJAX experience is required for Banking/Pensions project in Surrey.
Minimum Qualifications - Front End Developer
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in Web Systems Design
5+ years strong technical web development experience
Language Knowledge - HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3
Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills
Skills & Qualifications - Front End Developer
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Basic understanding of Server Side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS
Proficient understanding of client-side Scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Good understanding of and knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS etc.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop is a plus.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT, SVN
Good understanding of Security principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
Responsibility - Front End Developer
Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs - cross browsers and device compatibility using best RWD principles
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to Back End
Adhere to security principles defined and best practices and keep up with current threats
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Highly Desired Qualifications
Python, Django or equivalent Web Development Framework experience using MVC Design Pattern
Strong Unix and Oracle Database experience
Good understanding of Accessibility and different level of compliance
