Rare opportunity to join an innovative global tech company as they embark on maturing their Architecture team. This role is reporting directly into the Group Head of Architecture. Travel to the EU twice a month may be necessary.
These Technical Architects must be committed and hands-on software professionals. They will work closely with a Project Manager, Client Director, Strategic Account Manager, Senior Technical Architect and the customer to ensure successful delivery of software projects.
They must have excellent skills in and experience of taking a lead role in designing, architecting, implementing and delivering complex commercial systems using Agile Methodologies, software development procedures and other software engineering techniques.
Design methods, models and techniques, UML for preference
Presentation, facilitation and JAD skills
Team Management (team size 5+) using Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP, Agile)
6+ years of architecting and leading the implementation of enterprise solutions within Java or .net architecture
Experience of mobile and connected device technologies
Technical authority and consultancy skills
Architected at least one ~£1M+ solution
Strong focused quality management experience
Client and server implementation experience
Logical design and logical-to-physical design skills
Deep technical skills across their chosen enterprise technologies
Have worked closely with senior business people on requirements analysis and solution proposition
