Description

We are supporting one of our Global Renewable Energy clients in their search for a Fabrication Supervisor. Our client is looking for a Fabrication Supervisor to review and comment on technical fabrication procedures such as weld plans, method statements etc. from sub suppliers before work starts in the workshops. The Fabrication Supervisor will also be required to generate internal progress/technical reports to the client and attend meetings, take part in and follow-up on possible NCR documentation coming from the supplier. You will also be required to review and comment on material, dimension quality documentation and as-built documentation, you will also be responsible for technical completion and punch lists. This is a 3.5 month freelance contract starting 20th March 2017 up until approximately 30th June 2017 with the possibility of extending further thereafter. This will be in average 5 days, 8hrs a day. The main work location will be in Europe.
Qualifications/Knowledge of Candidate:
  • Must be experienced in working in a welding environment, performed in large offshore steel workshop.
  • International welding specialist (IWS) with experienced in serial production of offshore WTG foundations.
  • International welding Technologist (IWT) with experience in serial production of offshore WTG foundations.
  • International welding engineer (IWE) with experienced in serial production of offshore WTG foundations.
Special Provisions:
  • The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software and mobile telephone which should be either an iPhone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6, 6+ or Windows phone 8.1.
  • Offshore works: The Consultant must have his/her own PPE equipment.
