GIS Technicians
Triad has a number of positions available for our longstanding client based in Aylesbury.
We are the preferred supplier to the company across a variety of projects and applying via Triad offers you the best chance of landing a role.
The contracts will initially be long term 6 months but having worked with the client on this project for over 12 years we would expect the contracts to roll of for a much longer period.
If you are looking for your first GIS role in the UK or if you have just graduated in GIS, Geography or a similar subject we would be interested in hearing from you.
The role;

Querying spatial information on a national telecoms database.

Modifying GIS asset information.

Route planning for new and existing telecom lines - indicating asset features (Depth, length, environmental information)

Producing detailed job packs/reports for the use of field surveyors to undertake manual work in the field.

Daily use of GIS and Microsoft software.
Your skills;
-
Ability to understand, interrogate and read maps

Experience in using GIS Software (ArcGIS,QGIS, Mapinfo)

Experience in data capture and/or digitising.

Excellent communication and map production skills.
