Murex Developer - Support, GOM, Reporting engine, V3.1.36

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge in derivatives products mainly IRDs and FI
  • Good level of Murex experience GOM, configuration, trades & orders life cycle, workflows in version 3.1.36 and up
  • Expert level of Murex reporting engine- simulation, datamarts
  • Expert level of Murex UDF tables and fields set-up
  • Good level of Murex MxML exchange and Market data import RTBS
  • Previous 2-5 years of experience in Murex application support and liaising with software vendor for software issues/bugs/release management
  • Linux, Shell Scripting, JavaScript experience
  • Good communication skills & ability to manage Murex production environment efficiently
  • Experience with Murex Limit management, E-trade pad, Collateral Management are desirables
  • Oracle PL/SQL

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strategic development of Murex system and interacting interfaces.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot intra-day and end of day procedure/processes/application issues
  • Monitor intra-day Murex workflows (Trades & events, Orders, Pre and Post-Trades) and Murex interfaces and troubleshoot/fix issues
  • Assist business users in Murex application usage and maintain non-financial application settings
  • Create & update reports/datamarts and update UDF tables when required
  • Maintain Murex operating Model, run housekeeping functions, and maintain groups/users access rights in Murex
  • Maintain and Liaise with Murex list of issues, bugs, and problems reported by users and resolution
  • Test and assess solutions/configuration changes and liaise with relevant business groups prior to implementation in production
  • Assess appropriate tactical and strategic solutions to meet business requirements and liaise with Murex for future roadmap and developments
