Quality Analyst
A unique opportunity to work within a leading international bank, working with cutting edge technology in a collaborative multinational team. Creating a centre of excellence for software development in Bulgaria to liaise across borders ie London, India and New York to deliver critical technology programmes and projects.
The team is working on projects to deliver strategic Risk and Finance capabilities to meet the organisation's long term strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Owning the test function
- Developing trend analysis
- Ensuring systems and processes meet total quality management and industry standards and are aligned with company strategic goals
- Managing the trial and qualification of new applications, equipment, and processes against pre-defined quality standards
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers
- Performing functional testing
- Experience with ownership of project deliverables
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to prioritise, be flexible and respond to changing environments
- Experience in test automation and test-driven development
- Excellent knowledge of the testing life cycle
- Ability and confidence to face off to senior business stakeholders
Essential Skills:
- 5+ years of quality analyst experience in a professional environment
- Unix Basics/Shell Scripting
- Experience in SQL commands including JOIN, Server Side/Backend testing, Test Management and Bug Tracking Tool (Like Zypher, JIRA) and Agile/Scrum development cycle
- Core Java, C#, C++, Hadoop, Spark, Large Scale Data Management and Analytics, Business and Technical Analysis, Team Leadership and Project Management.
Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)
- Knowledge of corporate banking processes, SQL, automation frameworks and programming language
- Experience in Automation Test Suite writing via Java Programming and working on Investment Domain projects such as Rates/FX or Risk
- Experience in Server Side Automation Tools (Like Fitnesse/Selenium Web Driver) and Performance testing tools (like JMeter or any others)
