Mura Development and Support

Brief Overview

My Central Government client is on an ambitious programme to bring its services into a Digital Environment. They are working closely with the GDS, working towards a Digital by Default and a Cloud First adoption policy. To that end, they require a MURA Developer.

As an experienced Mura Developer, your role will be to translate user requirements into designs, undertake minor developments and resolve issues. You will manage Git repositories and Jenkins, advise on cost and viability of change requests.

You will also manage & maintain server environments, monitor & report performance and produce & maintain build and DR documentation. You will support developers in setting up and running development environment and help release software.

Skills and experiences MUST include:

  • Expertise in the Mura Content Management System and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this project.
  • Extensive use of ColdFusion and Railo and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this project.
  • Extensive use of Jenkins or Hudson and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this project.
  • Experience in web design technologies (eg CSS, HTML5, JavaScript) and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this project.
  • Experience in working with source control repositories (eg Git, Team Foundation Server) and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this project
  • Good development, deployment and support practices including testing and version control and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this project.
  • Use of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as JQuery and Bootstrap and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this project.
  • Managing conflicting and competing priorities and how this will ensure the successful delivery of this project.
