Description
Our client is looking for experienced Ruby on Rails senior developers to join their team.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Minimum 3-4 projects implementation experience in RUBY
- Responsible for building Ruby applications, including anything from complex groups of Back End microservices to command line utilities and data processing scripts
- Hands on development experience in writing the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
- Hands on Experience in functional programming style in Ruby
- Experience with popular web application frameworks such as Rails (MUST)
- Good Understanding with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
- Writing clean, readable Ruby code
- Knowledge of Travel and logistics will be an additional advantage
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{eg Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
- F amiliarity with development aiding tools {{such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc}}
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming & Functional programming
- Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and building quality products is essential.
Key Deliverables:
- Writing reusable Ruby libraries that may be used in expressive ways
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Unit Test cases
Qualifications:
- Should be a Bachelor's Degree holder
- At least 7-8 years of hands-on experience in web development with minimum 3-4 projects of end to end implementation experience in RUBY
