Interface Designer/GUI/Web Applications/HTML/CSS/XML/XLST/JavaScript/AJAX/SharePoint
We are looking for a dedicated Graphical User Interface Developer with experience in designing graphical user interfaces in web projects (technology: Adobe Creative Suite), as well as experience of implementing GUI guidelines in web applications (technologies: HTML5, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScript and AJAX techniques). The requested candidate would have experience working with cross browser compatibility, as well as previous experience with MS SharePoint and SharePoint Designer. Previous experience the GUI implementation on mobile devices is considered advantageous, as is previous experience with tools used (technologies: Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, ASP.NET, MS SQL Reporting Services, MS SharePoint/MS SharePoint Designer and MS Dynamics CRM).
Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of user interfaces taking into account user ergonomics and usability for systems developed by the section;
- Implementation of a graphical user interface as specified and according to standards and guidelines;
- Ensure that a user interface works well in a predefined set of browsers and versions of browsers;
- Develop documentation including help text, report samples, and screen samples;
- Create/find new GUI components/images when no such component exists previously.
- Report to the assigned Group Leader in the Development section.
In addition the consultant may be requested to perform various tasks related to other projects, products, applications and services developed in the ICT Development section.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in designing graphical user interfaces in web projects;
- Proven experience of implementing GUI guidelines in web applications;
- Proven excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScript and AJAX techniques;
- Experience with SharePoint and SharePoint Designer;
- Proven experience working with cross browser compatibility;
- Motivation and communication;
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for creating/editing images for the Web;
- Advantageous criteria: Experience the GUI implementation on mobile devices.
