Apollo Solutions are currently recruiting for a hot new role in either Paris or London for a worldwide bank. This is a fantastic opportunity for a very experienced Security Architect with solid project management experience.The main focus of this position will be to deliver on strong authentication, automatic provisioning, with an aim on delivering on FI program C applications.
As a hands-on Security Project Manager, you will fundamentally be responsible for understanding development security and it implementation in systems - identification, authentication, access control and provisioning.
Key Responsibilities:
* To drive, track and assist with the migration of FI Program C applications to their security target, as defined by FI security passport, including identifying situations where managed technologies are appropriate and understanding issues and obstacles to their adoption
* Hands-on involvement acting as an internal consultant to deploy key security technologies in FI applications and to ensure projects conforms to the defined security standards and overall architectural strategies of the bank.
* Providing guidance and reviews to development teams through both entering projects early and aiding technical leads in designing the solution architecture, and by conducting periodic progress reviews to ensure good practices are followed and the project remains consistent with the medium/long term strategy of the bank.
* To strengthen development practices and improve overall development security through highlighting good practices, development methodologies and approaches including the adoption of source code analysis
* Provide guidance on security tools and resources, including identifying standard tool-sets/libraries and assisting in the adoption of such tool-sets and resources by the development groups
* Providing input to Capital Markets security strategy and enterprise architecture from a security developer perspective
* Identifying ways of improving developers skill sets through liaising with appropriate departments, finding areas of best practice and facilitating communication through meetings, conferences, brown-bag sessions, etc
* Involvement within the CMIT Architecture Governance and Security processes to monitor and assist with the adoption of architecture standards and adherence to future state objectives.
Essential Skills:
* Project and/or program management experience in security and development fields
* Excellent knowledge and practical experience of web single sign on mechanisms, identity management tools and federated identity services
* Excellent understanding of development security and its implementation in systems: identification, authentication, access control and provisioning, alignment of jurisdiction to business process.
* Experience of specific security product and technologies: Kerberos/SAML authentication, Microsoft ADFS, CA Siteminder, BMC Control SA
* Experience of the entire development life cycle within .NET, Java and/or C# projects from architecture through to maintenance at an enterprise level
* Ability to maintain custom made security components and scripts in various languages (Java, Shell, SQL, etc.)
