System Engineer
Challenging new opportunity for a System Solution Engineer to join a progressive technology company on the next generation of technology products.
We are looking for mid to senior level Engineers.
Y ou will be working closely with the Project Manager and System Architect to prepare our software and systems for implementation of our big data web application/software solution that helps clients improve service to their clients through BI reports and other data.
The responsibilities include developing system & integration design documents, configuration and deployment of integration components for implementations, data mapping, supporting Deployment Engineers during implementation, maintaining documentation, and assisting with support when necessary.
This is a six month contract with the option to extend or convert. We prefer candidates that would like to convert, however, not required. We also have a direct hire position open. The position is located in Atlanta/Buckhead. REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 2+ years experience as an Engineer responsible for deploying and supporting enterprise software solutions
- Mid to senior level
- 2 + years of SQL Server experience
- Data mapping
- Experience developing SQL queries
- Experience with SQL Server stored procedures
- Understanding of a logical programming language that is Object Oriented (Java, C#, etc.).
- Experience with system optimization and performance tuning in SQL Server & Windows
- Web applications and technologies
- Understanding networks and protocols
- Understanding of Network security
- Ability to pass a background check (credit & criminal)
- Consultative personality
- Excellent communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Understanding of a logical programming language that is Object Oriented (Java, C#, etc.)
