Golang Developer - Golang/Go - Stoke - 3 Month rolling ContractStart Date - ASAP
As a result of continued expansion, an exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious Golang Developer to join a well established technology company based in Stoke-on-Trent for a 3 month rolling contract
Role:
You will join a team responsible for enhancing and supporting the systems that monitor the usage of our key systems in Real Time.
You will be delivering high quality code in a fast paced enterprise scale environment. Working on business critical components, you will be challenged to work within our established software development life cycle, assisting with analysis, delivering solutions and working with the wider business to release changes to the live systems.
Skills and Knowledge:
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the golang (Google Go) programming language. Knowledge of SQL is crucial, Postgres and MSSQL preferred.
Familiarity with at least some of the following technologies and systems is also highly desirable:
- Low latency/high throughput systems
- NoSQL databases
- Message broker systems
- In-memory caching
- packet capture (pcap)
- Complex event processing
- Continuous query languages
- gnu utilities
You will be delivery focused and self-motivated with the ability to adapt to a diverse, reactive 24/7 working environment. You will be a technical communicator capable of managing multiple tasks.
