Function: Front-end Web DeveloperThe purpose of this role is to perform requirements analysis, architectural website design, plus the development and maintenance of websites within the UK, US and Scandinavia).
Role Overview:
The Web Developer is responsible for both the frontend and backend of the US website, as well as the backend frontend of the UK and Scandinavia website. Development and maintenance includes any changes or bug Fixes for to the UK and Scandinavia. Other members of the Web Development team are responsible for UK and Scandinavia website bug fixes and enhancements.
The role holder will be expected to work alongside the IT Operations Manager, business stakeholders, Marketing and QA teams in the analysis, design, development and testing across multiple website projects. A good working knowledge of software engineering principles, best practices and the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC) is also required.It is essential the role holder has the ability to take ownership of a project and can lead by example.The Web Developer will be expected to conduct code reviews.
Projects include the continued development of my clients websites which are built on top of the EPiServer 7 CMS platform and include integration with Salesforce.
Primary Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of websites that adhere to best practices.
Review business requirements / functional specifications and create the appropriate solution design.
Create technical design documentation as appropriate.
Present solutions to a technical and non-technical audience
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders on a regular basis
Manage their time efficiently and effectively.
Perform systems analysis tasks as and when required.
Take a Test Driven Development (TDD) approach when relevant.
Assist Software Development and Infrastructure Support staff to resolve application and data issues as and when required.

Advanced website development
Salesforce integration
Front end technologies (JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS)
EPiServer CMS Platform
Analysis and requirement gathering
Responsible for the development of the UK and Scandinavia site.
Exposure to the Agile Methodology
Experience:
C# and MVC (ideally MVC 4/5 - Razor)
Experience of core JavaScript frameworks and libraries (AngularJS, Bootstrap, BackboneJS or Breeze)
ASP.NET
5+ years' experience in website development
