Proteus Europe is searching for a C# developer to join the growing permanent team of one of our clients based in Norway.Our Client :-
Our client is heavily involved with real-time 3D graphics and is an industry leader with studio automation and management tools for the broadcasting industry. They have customers in more than 100 countries worldwide including such as CNN, CBS, Fox, the BBC, BSkyB, Al Jazeera, ITN, ZDF, Star TV, Network 18, TV Today, CCTV, NHK and the list keeps growing. This is due to their motivated and enthusiastic technical team and their thirst for excellence.
Your New role :-
We are looking for a skilled C# software developer to join the permanent Automation team for our client. You will be involved in the design and development of real time software for TV studio productions, both on the server and client side.
The skills and attributes we are looking for are as follows:
- Knowledge and experience with C# and to some extent VB
- Experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft Windows
- Experience with unit test frameworks
- You should be well versed in algorithms and object oriented design, and have a keen eye for both API design and user interface design
- A genuine interest in software development
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- C#
- .NET
- VB
Desirable Skills :-
- Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Knowledge in TV production, both technology and workflow
- Relevant work experience
- Experience with Agile methodology, WPF, WCF, ASP.Net, Service Oriented Architecture,.Net Remoting, RESTful services, etc.
- Experience with developing device drivers for controlling external equipment
