Proteus Europe is searching for IT Transfer Agent Business Analyst for a 6 Month renewable contract role based in Luxembourg.
Language: Excellent written and oral French and English skills are essential

Your New role:-
In accordance with the quality and security procedures currently in place within the Securities Services IT TA department, the IT Analyst takes a lead role in analysing, documenting and proposing solutions to best meet the business needs in the Transfer Agency sector. He/she also plays an active role in environments interventions coordination, and guarantees the information systems efficiency and non-obsolescence.
In this context, the IT analyst will carry out the following duties:
- Collect and understand the business issues and needs
- Translate the business requirements into functional specifications which include system design elements and detailed test plans for the proposed solution
- Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts
- Manage change requests related to the project plans to ensure commitment to agreed deadlines
- On a weekly basis, provide effective and informative progress evaluations in terms of outstanding milestones, current status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
- Assist in realisation of project deadlines and schedules
- Ensure that the appropriate documentation is made available for the end user and IT Support.
- Communicate effectively and facilitate team interaction
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes, applications efficiency/non obsolescence and propose solutions
- Coordinate environments interventions such as refreshes, data scrambling and releases validation.
- Elaborate and implement monitoring solution (Incidents, performances and KPIs) for the databases. With regard to these results, realize the fine tuning in order to improve the efficiency and the stability
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
- Proven record of analysis work on medium to large projects, with a minimum of three years related experience.
- Proven record in specification writing and software development
- Good understanding of the banking sector, particularly knowledge of Transfer Agency is mandatory
- Good knowledge of Multifonds TA software would be an advantage
- Familiarity with an Oracle/Unix development environment using a standard interface tool such as Toad or SQL*Plus. Knowledge of ExtJS and Oracle BiPublisher is not mandatory but would be an advantage
- Good command of French and English, both spoken and written
