Senior Orchestration Software EngineerOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Senior Orchestration Software Engineer to join their business in Ireland.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in- breed solutions using the most advanced approaches to software engineering – particularly MDA/MDE
- Work across multi-disciplinary teams in an agile environment
- Work with stakeholders to ensure & verify requirements have been met and identify any issues.
- Passionate about both the solutions you develop and the technologies you work with
- Keep up to date with the latest tools and technologies
- Business trips may be requested as necessary to support strategy engagements.
Qualification:
- Deep knowledge of latest software development methodologies, with a particular emphasis on MDA/MOF, including practical experience
- Also of the requirements of large-scale, carrier-grade solutions (highly available, geo- redundancy, high throughput), and the technologies available to achieve them (e.g. AKKA, micro-services)
- Excellent understanding of data persistence approaches and technologies, their strengths and weaknesses including both relational & non-relational databases, caching, distributed & federated databases
- Experience with one or more of YANG, TOSCA, TBD a very strong advantage
- Knowledge of and experience working with Network Management, Service Provisioning / Fulfilment software solutions
- Experience with network concepts & technologies (including end-to- end services) also a very highly desirable
- Working in an Agile Environment.
- OOD along with knowledge of BDD, DDD and TDD
- Knowledge of OpenStack/Open Daylight
- Experience with configuring Router or Switches via CLI, SNMP or NETCONF
- Excellent recent practical experience of many of the following: JAVA, Spring, REST/Web Services, JSON, XML, Javascript/CSS/Html, Databases (relational & non-relational), Groovy,SCALA, AKKA (or other Reactive frameworks), GWT and GWT extension frameworks (SmartGWT, vaadin).
- Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, etc.)
- Familiar with tools such as: Maven or Gradle, LoadRunner, QTP or Selenium
