the configuration of some equipment per each site & project
the site constraints or installation constraints
- Quotation tool definition:
Transform an engineering file into an official quotation for our customer
Could be used to evaluate project cost for budgetary purposes
- Utilization: This tool shall be used by our customer & by Huawei engineers in order to define the configuration of some equipment.
Secured access to the tool should be considered
Quotation tracking file simplification & optimization
o Simplify the format and information need to be collected
o Optimize the way of synchronization with quotations files
Simplifies the connections between DRDT - Quotation - Export Novae - quotation tracking file
Eventually develop an APPlication or a portal which can centralize the DRDT & Quotation and provide statistics or alarms
- Total expected development time: 6 months
OFR ON project:
- Engineering tool convergence
o 2 Excel files to be converged maintaining the same functions in VBA
- Quotation tool to finalize:
development already initialized
reuse existing tools and finalize development
- Estimated: at least 2 to 3 months workload
- Skills requirements: Excel & VBA programming
OFR MW project:
- Engineering tool development:
o This tool shall be used by our customer & by Huawei engineers in order to define the configuration of some equipment.
o The tool should be able to:
Reflect the shelf view of the equipment (main components & boards)
and outdoor view
- Quotation tool development: Based on the engineering document, the quotation tool shall be able to:
o automatically output the product & service configuration for the customer
o manage price list (modification, import/export in table format)
o output CSV file with Bill Of Quantity per site
- Option 1:
o Development on Excel with VBA programming
- Option 2:
o Development with another kind of language (tool should be license free)
Proposal to be done by contractor
- Estimated workload: max 3~6 months
