C++ Developer ( C++ , Object Oriented Design , Linux , Unix ) required for a Blue Chip Fintech company in Central London to join their team. We are looking for experienced software developers with strong technical and programming skills, good problem solving ability and someone who has a strong sense of ownership.
An exciting opportunity as a C++ Developer ( C++ , Object Oriented Design , Linux , Unix ) for a passionate individual who is eager for a new Greenfield challenge and to be part of an integral team within the business whereby you can expect to be exposed to a range of different technologies and challenges. You will be working with everything from low level networking protocols to understanding the most up to date products traded on the global exchanges.
Role & Responsibilities
- 12-month contract
- Building high performance applications
- Own & drive your own projects
- Write high volume, low latency, multi-threaded applications on UNIX platforms
- Reduce latencies
- Improve scalability & maintainability of the system
For the role of C++ Developer ( C++ , Object Oriented Design , Linux , Unix ) you must have:
- Strong C++ experience
- Good understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
- An aptitude for analytical problem solving
- Good experience of working with both Linux & Unix
- Familiar with building high volume, high availability distributed systems
- Be able to take ownership of your work and are self-motivated in driving your own projects
- Deep understanding of object oriented design, data structures & algorithms
