I am currently recruiting for an ETL Developer to work for a global telecoms provider in Romania.
ETL Developer
ETL is the batch integration Middleware between systems used by the customer organization (ie data extraction, transformation and loading). The purpose of the role is to deliver into production enhancements for the existing flows and to build new functionalities/flows.
Job Responsibilities
- Design/development of enhancements for the existing flows;
- Design/development of new functionalities/flows;
- Support customer System Integration testing (SIT);
- Support production deployment;
- Provide project documentation as per the software development process;
- Identify and address technical issues in due time;
- Ability to understand and develop business requirements and create design to meet those business requirements;
Experience Required
- Understands telecom operators applications landscape;
- Experience with ETL flows design and development (preferable using DataStage 8.x/9.x);
- Good SQL knowledge;
- Oracle DB 10g, 11g;
- Shell Scripting;
- Linux (RedHat 5.x) environment;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Good communication and documentation skills in English.
