Data Analyst Developer
A top Client of realTime's based in Cork City is on the lookout for a Data Analyst Developer for a 9- 12 month daily rate contract.
You will be required to assist the Modelling team in preparing Models and Tools for a project go-live. Your duties will include improving existing models, the performance of database queries, as well as the performance of existing programs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work with the modelling team on a range of projects focused on providing market insights in Real Time:
- Develop and implement data sourcing and transformation processes
- Assist in documentation of all models and tools provided by the Modelling team
- Develop automated data analytical techniques
- Convert existing models from VBA to appropriate languages
- Optimise existing and new database queries
- Optimise the performance of existing/new programs in Python, C#
- Manage and implement data processes to feed existing/new models
- Assist in internal testing of all in-house models
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience of similar roles
- Strong database experience: MS SQL Server, T-SQL required
- Enthusiastic self-starter with a proactive approach to problem solving and systems development;
- Strong programming skills and commercial experience of developing with Python/C# is essential. Experience with R is an added advantage.
