Machine Learning Engineer-Machine Learning-NLP-Java-Python-New York
Our Client, a globally recognised financial organisation, are seeking Machine Learning Engineers with NLP experience for their team in New York. This is a 6-month contract role with a very specific requirement of adding features to their tagging system using Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. You will also be help build out machine learning recommendation systems.
Requirements:
- Multiple years of experience in Java programming
- Knowledge of python a plus
- Great understanding of machine learning algorithm development and Object Oriented designs
- Familiar with statistical modelling, machine learning, nlp
- Previous use of Apache Spark is a plus
- Knowledge of Hadoop desirable
The role:
- Work within the Machine Learning team to build out models and support products
- As an engineer, you will partner with the Data Scientists to understand their needs
- Play a key role in designing and building machine learning platform
- 6-month contract role, there is potential to move into something more long term should you be interested.
