Define and drive the architecture for future client Cloud offerings.
Drive the alignment of the technical direction with the business opportunities
Be a thought leader in cloud computing across multiple business and community channels and become a trusted advisor to decision makers.
Lead the engineering development of my clients Cloud Management Stack and feature set in accordance with customer expectations.
Engage with key industrial and academic partners to deliver best in class cloud technology solutions for public or private cloud.
Requirements:
A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree, MS in Cloud related field is a distinct advantage.
15+ years' experience in Engineering with a minimum of 5 of those years in a Lead Engineering role.
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers and emerging trends and impact on industry verticals.
Experience in conceptualizing, recommending and implementing cloud technology solutions for large enterprise-level projects.
Experience in cloud related technologies such as containerisation, virtualisation, software defined networks or software defined storage etc.
5+ years experience in deploying, using, supporting and contributing to OpenStack Platform (IceHouse or later) is preferred.
In depth knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and a proficiency in Python is preferred.
