Description

Can be located in Raleigh or Charlotte.

*All candidates must be able do do an onsite interview, no phone interviews will be conducted. Interviews will consists of functional and technical questions.

This role is primarily responsible for the development, maintenance and support of Corporate Time Reporting systems. Must be able to quickly dig into existing code to determine how it is structured and how enhancement requirements will fit into the existing code set. Must also be able to take raw requirements and develop a plan of attack for coding a solution based on them.

The individual would be expected to make decisions independently and deliver on commitments. The candidate needs to be a self-starter, fast learner, and be able to work with little supervision and follow established policies and procedures. On call duties will be required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline; or prior equivalent work related experience in lieu of a degree

5 - 7 years related work experience

Previous development experience in JavaScript or SQL Script is a must. Direct Scripting experience with WorkForce Time Reporting software is a plus.

Technical experience with Time Reporting or HR Applications

Application development and/or technical support experience in troubleshooting production issues of systems with several interfaces

Ability to gather requirements and resolve complex issues that require significant freedom of action and sound judgment with little management oversight

Ability to present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner in both oral and written form to business clients and senior management

Demonstrated experience assuring compliance and technical controls are adhered to and operating effectively

Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communications skills to work effectively with customers, peers, and all levels of management

Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision - self motivated

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

9+ years related experience Demonstrates the ability to absorb change and continue with positive results

Exhibits confidence and a proper level of assertiveness when needed

Experience with WorkForce Applications

Experience in managing and performing production installations

Must be able to work W2 hourly be local to Raleigh or Charlotte and available for onsite interview.
