Description

We are looking for an Application Architect to join our team working with an EU agency in the historic city of Strasbourg, seat of the European Parliament and home to many prestigious EU agencies.

Working under our contract with eu-LISA, you will help our client accomplish their mission of supporting all the EU member states for a safer Europe through technology.

Tasks will include:

  • Architecture and design of database evolutions;
  • Design and development of component architecture and building blocks;
  • Analysis of the integration;
  • Data analysis and Datamodelling;
  • Technical interface between project leaders and developers;
  • Assistance in testing, writing technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.

We are looking for a following profile:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant education after secondary school,
  • 6 years of IT professional experience with 2 years in architecture, design and development of information systems;
  • Experience with Service Bus Architecture, web technologies, relational databases and Linux, UNIX or AIX;
  • In-depth knowledge of SOA, application design and modelling tools;
  • Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming languages, RDBMS, business process analysis and interoperability technology;
  • Excellent English;
  • Eligible for a EU Security Clearance.

This position is offered as a long term freelance contract.
