Job Description for ServiceNow Engineer:
Responsibilities:
Developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, one or more Web Services, HTML and CSS
Executing advanced Scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.
Developing and delivering customised portal web pages in ServiceNow using Bootstrap and AngularJS JavaScript frameworks
Working Knowledge of Server Infrastructure
Writing SQL statements in Oracle
Troubleshooting and tuning for performance issues on the ServiceNow Platform
Deploying major releases on the platform on a development life cycle
Qualifications:
hands-on ServiceNow experience
Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL tuning
Familiar with working on Unix/Linux environments
Experience with Scripted Web Services, JavaScript, SOAP, REST, LDAP
Working knowledge of IT Service Management components (eg Service Catalog, Change, Incident, Release, Problem, etc.)
Working knowledge of design, coding, testing methodologies and debugging
Certifications:
ServiceNow System Administrator Certification (preferable)
