Description
All-round Oracle DBA with extensive knowledge and experience to make improvements to a complex infrastructure and provide advice on solutions to automate whenever possible.
The focus is on the interaction between database and application. Also important is knowledge of partitioning (large databases/tables), how to guide a Load and Stress Test (LST) and how to test an application to properly handle a High Available Oracle infrastructure (relocate, database switch).
An active contribution is expected from him/her in the operational support of applications. This includes participating in agile/scrum teams, and running standby or day services for that application.
The scope can and will be wider than just the focus on Oracle services, the following is required:
- Performance Tuning
- Linux
- Oracle database 11g/Oracle database 12c
- Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Oracle Database Vault
- Transparent Data Encryption
- Oracle Enterprise Manager 12
