Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join an organisation in Brussels.
This is a 6 month contract and we are looking for candidates available immediately.
*Minimum 24 years of relevant studies and experience after secondary school
*Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience; Minimum of 15 years in one or more of the following areas: UML, SOA, JEE, web 2.0, a business process modelling tool, a DBMS or specific design or architectural tool
*Minimum 2 years' experience in architecture and design of information systems, as well as in development of information systems
*In-depth knowledge of: Service Oriented Architecture, applications design and modelling tools
*Good knowledge of: Object Oriented Programming languages, Enterprise Architecture, Relational DBMS, and business process analysis
*Knowledge of interoperability technology (eg web services, message oriented Middleware, service oriented bus)
*Good redaction skills and ability to give technical presentations.
*Ability to apply high quality standards and to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design
*Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills (in English); Capability and experience in working in team.
*Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self starting
Description
*Architecture and design of information systems.
*Review of the architecture of existing systems
*Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
*Analysis of the integration of different information systems
*Data analysis and Datamodelling.
*Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
*Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
*Production of software architecture documents
*Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
*Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting
