QA Software Tester - Bristol - 6 Month contract - £350 a dayWe are working with an organisation based in Bristol who are looking for an experienced QA/Software Tester to come on board to work on some very exciting greenfield projects and join a new team for an initial 6 month contract.
The main purpose of this position is to fully test all in-house developed applications and subsequent software releases using a methodical testing plan approach.
The QA Software Tester will make sure that testing is well defined, planned and executed as well as ensuring that all software is compatible with a variety of operating systems and devices.
In order to be considered for this QA Software Tester role experience with the following is required:
Proven experience of Testing Web based applications with experience of cross-browser compatibility testing
Experience of testing mobile devices ideally in a .Net environment
Test Automation knowledge experience within a C#, .Net environment (SOAP UI, Cucumber, Selenium Web Driver etc.)
Strong understanding of QA methodology and software development life-cycle
Experience of working in an Agile environment
Knowledge of Test Driven and Behaviour Driven Development
Ability to write test scripts and manage test schedules
This QA Software Tester role is located in Bristol close to public transport and motorway networks.
