Leading Investment Banking Client
An opportunity has become available for a Strong C++ Developer with GLOSS Development experience to join my client a Large Financial Organisation Based in Bromley.
The role is in within their technology team, which provides global development and support for the firm's Prime Brokerage business, satisfying the demands of both internal business areas and external clients. A diverse range of systems are used globally to fulfil trade capture, settlement and client reporting.
This is a dynamic, client-facing department whereby Technology team members are expected to be flexible and adapt quickly to new and changing requirements, priorities and roles as required.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand functional requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Producing detailed Technical specifications.
- Development/Enhancement of various modules in or around the GLOSS interface which includes Trade Capture, Trade Feeds, Instruction Processing, Accounting and Postings.
Essential Skills
- Strong Development background
- Strong GLOSS HV development skills.
- Strong SQL, C & UNIX development skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to analyse existing systems at a functional and technical level.
- Must have an excellent understanding of Middle/Back Office processing such as Transaction Capture, Clearing, Custody and Settlements.
- Good understanding of Finance processing such as Trade Accounting and Posting.
- Overall good programming experience & passion for programming
Nice to have
- Knowing Perl and PowerBuilder would be beneficial.
