Java Developer is required by a global organisation for a project in Central London
Responsibilities
Build and implement Front End web applications and Back End services that integrate with other products.
Interact with business analysts and clients
Validate requirements and system design
Would own performance testing, improvement techniques and caching solutions
Skills & Experience
Proficient knowledge of a Back End programming language like C++, Java
Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming
Have strong system development experience with command on following
Web Development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, XML
Application Development: Python, Java, Ruby etc
Application Design: Model-View-Controller (MVC), Object Oriented, RESTful services/APIs
Data-Layer Development: NoSQL and relational DBs
Code Versioning: Git, Svn, Mercurial
Hosting: Tomcat/JBoss, IIS, Nginx
Experience in nodejs, ruby, jQuery is a plus
Experience with AWS, Azure and other cloud platforms is a plus
Experience in both latest Front End and Back End web and mobile technologies
Good understanding of continuous integration & continuous deployment environments
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Any open source contribution is a plus
Familiarity with development aiding tools such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, Gulp, etc is a
